RE: Vagabonds
Hey Roddie, well i can understand why you go back to it sir, i unfortunatly never got the chance to see them live, i only really got into Lizzy when i was thirteen , 3 years later the band was gone, 3 years after that so Was Phil, and judging by the following that is still around i guess none of us ever got over it.i wonder if we will still all be talking about it in another 23 years, god i will have turned 63then , and i think my lady will have left me if i still have long GREY hair ha ha .in fact it will be good if i have any hair at all.

RE: Vagabonds
It's hard to pick a favourite album. All Thin Lizzy albums have their own great moments.
But Black Rose is probably my favourite. My first TL album. My mother bought it to me for christmas 1983 and it got me hooked. The sad part is that they had already split then. Then I got all of the albums

RE: Vagabonds
January this year I bought my first Thin Lizzy cd, and the music went straight to my heart.
Yes, I had heard The Boys Are Back In Town many times, and liked it. But I never thought of checking out the rest of the music. And now as a newcomer in the Thin Lizzy world of amazing guitarplaying, beatiful lyrics/poetry and Philips wonderful voice I am discovering new songs all the time. I even got L&D, Johnny The Fox and Killer Lizzy on vinyl, and I don't have a record player(well not yet). So my favorites right now is: L&D(lp;-), Renegade, Johnny The Fox(lp;-), Still dangerous, Thin Lizzy and Fighting. And when the music that make you blue unfolds its secrets, the mysteries are told to you.[/quote][/i] |
